The remains of Joanna Speaks were found outside an abandoned barn in Washington. Reports say the missing mom had left behind three children in Oregon since March.
On April 8, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office discovered the remains of Joanna Speaks, 32, outside an abandoned barn in Ridgefield, Washington. A medical examiner stated that Speaks had died due to a blunt force trauma to her head and neck. The sheriff’s office also stated that there are signs that Speaks’ body was transferred to the said location.According to Balagtas, Joanna’s sister, Robyn Speaks, and stepsister, Ariel Hamby, could not believe what happened to her. The missing mom apparently have three children she had left behind in Oregon. Her children include two teenage boys and a 7-year-old girl who were able to contact her for the last time in March. Hamby stated that the children broke down during the first few days but are now trying to avoid talking about their mother.

Investigation Ongoing for Death of Missing Mom
According to Tacopino, authorities have already confirmed that the remains found outside the abandoned barn indeed belonged to the missing mom of three. The sheriffs in Clark County declared that the death of Joanna Speaks is now being investigated as a homicide. Unfortunately, authorities have not yet identified the suspect or revealed the motive in the killing.
