Man Faces Several Assaults And Murder After Lighting A House On Fire

A 31-year-old man faces several counts of assaults and murder reportedly lighting the house on fire where five people are burned and two of them were killed.

Man Set The House On Fire That Kills Two People

Firefighters immediately responded to the house on fire on Gary Drive. The fire is very strong that the people inside are injured and some are killed.

The medical crews arrived and treat the burned victims. While firefighters continue to rescue they discovered 77-year-old Filiberto Torres’s dead body. Medics bring the five individuals to Mississippi Medical Center with critical conditions and the other is to the Baptist Hospital.

One of the victims transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Hose Thomas Segura Juarez died from his wounds. The three injured individuals will remain in the hospital.

Perez Allegedly Threw A Bucket Of Gasoline To The People In The Kitchen To Start The Fire

Police discover that Perez intentionally started the fire by throwing a gallon of gasoline and using a BIC cigarette lighter to burst into flames causing the house fully on fire.

According to WLBT-TV, they all lived together in the house and there was a verbal argument before the fire incident. Perez also is critically injured and brought to Alabama. Perez was charged with two counts of murder and three aggravated assaults.
