Homeowners of Kansas are expecting to receive their rebates based on their paid property taxes that are under $37,750.The main purpose of these refunds is to help older, disabled, and low-income people.
Qualifications Of Kansas Homeowners To Receive The Rebates
For the Kansas Homeowners to receive their rebates, their household income must be under $37,750, they must be at least 56 years old, permanently blind or disabled, and they have a dependent child living with them. If they qualify for the homestead program, they could earn more in SAFESR especially the senior citizen above sixty-five years old.
According to the Department of Revenue, those homeowners who paid $936 property tax in 2021 will receive greater than $700. Seniors are encouraged to apply for both rebates but they will only get one rebate and they can only choose the bigger one.
The Utility and Sales Tax Rebate program is the third rebate for Kansas. The qualification for this is you should be 56 years and older with a property income of $25,000.

California has approved two guaranteed income programs and their main purpose is to help low-income families with their basic needs. The eligible ones can receive $500 monthly within a year.
Meanwhile, Colorado is also sending out money for its Property Tax, Rent, and Hear Debit (PTC) Rebate. Individuals who are eligible for this can receive $1,044 a year and must be 65 years older.
A disabled person that is unable to work because of medical reasons is also eligible.
