According to Samuels, experts believe that if the Trump indictment continues to dominate the news broadcasts, it will most likely extinguish the momentum of the former U.S. President’s Republican rivals in 2024 U.S. Presidential Elections. In 2016, the same strategy was made by Trump’s team to dominate the news broadcasts. For instance, the news outlets showed an empty stage where Trump was supposed to speak instead of showing his rivals giving speeches at the same time.
