David Allen Bosley was arrested for the rape and murder of a great-grandmother who went missing in Pennsylvania. Reports say Bosley was required to register as a convicted sex offender in 2000 after facing similar charges.

According to Eberhart, from the evidence collected at the crime scene which included a rape kit and shoe impressions, David Allen Bosley, 59, became an immediate person of interest. Thereafter, surveillance was placed around Bosley’s residence during the weekend. On April 6, the convicted sex offender was finally taken into custody.

Charges Faced by the Convicted Sex Offender
An article on the Yahoo News states that the convicted sex offender faced charges of kidnappings, aggravated indecent assault, rape by forcible compulsion, homicide, and abuse of a corpse. In 2000, Bosley was reportedly convicted of attempted rape and aggravated indecent assault and was registered as a sex offender. To date, the convicted sex offender is being held in the Venango County Prison and was denied bail by a judge. Report say Bosley’s schedule for his next appearance is expected on April 19.
