Speech About Trump Indictment

An article on Reuters states that Acting Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan of Manhattan may most likely include a gag order that would prevent the former U.S. President from discussing the Trump indictment in public. Merchan is expected to supervise the arraignment and plans to put conditions on Trump’s release after the proceedings.

In addition, former federal prosecutor Duncan Levin stated that there will be limitations on what Trump will be able to say that may hinder his intention to capitalize on the case. This is because Trump will be treated as a criminal defendant and rules will no longer be in his domain.
