Double Murder Suspect for Arkansas Couple Death Identified

Jeffery Michael Harris was identified as the suspect for the double murder of a couple in Arkansas. However, Harris has reportedly committed suicide a day after the couple’s bodies were discovered.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) held a press release that announced that a suspect in connection to the double murder in Arkansas has already been identified. According to Eberhardt, on July 16, 2022, the dead bodies of couple Shawn and Morgan Apple were discovered by some hikers in an area in Phantom Canyon, Colorado. Reportedly, Shawn and Morgan were from Harrisburg, Arkansas.

Suspect of Double Murder

According to Keith, the FCSO deputies stated that the investigators used evidence they have collected from the murder scene. These pieces of evidence were allegedly associated to a suicide case that was reported on July 17, 2022. Reportedly, the subject of the suicide case was Jeffery Michael Harris, then 19, who was from Cañon City, Colorado.

The FCSO deputies declared that Harris was associated to the murder of Shawn and Morgan because of the digital media records, forensic evidence, and ballistic evidence they have collected from the crime scene.
