Any American who meets the eligibility requirement can apply for the SSI Monthly Payment 2023. The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is intended for Americans who are mostly elderly and disabled. The maximum payment a beneficiary can receive can be up to $914 without a minimum. In accordance with the Social Security Administration (SSA)’s schedule, the payments are generally issued on the first day of each month.

According to Quirós Villalba, the next schedule for the SSI Monthly Payment 2023 will be this coming March 1. Unlike the retirement and disability pension payments, the SSA issues the SSI payments to the beneficiaries on the same day. However, there are months when the SSI is not issued according to schedule. This is because the first day of the month may be a weekend or a holiday. In this case, the SSA issues the payment on the nearest preceding business day.

Who is eligible for the SSI Monthly Payment 2023?

According to Williams, the SSI Monthly Payment 2023 on March 1 is not the only payment the SSA will issue this month. Apart from that, the SSA will also issue retirement and disability payments and an additional SSI payment on March 31. This is because the first day of April falls on a Saturday.

To be more specific, on March 1, beneficiaries will receive SSI Monthly Payment 2023 for the month of March. On March 8, beneficiaries born between the 1st and 10th of a month will receive payments. On March 15, beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of a month will receive payments. On March 22, beneficiaries born between the 21st and 31st of a month will receive payments. Lastly, on March 31, beneficiaries will receive the SSI payments supposed to be issued on April 1.
