A California shooting on an interstate ended in the arrest of a 53-year-old man during the weekend. To date, authorities are still looking to identify the possible motive of the suspect.

On February 11, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies received reports about a man pointing a gun at pedestrians and shooting at vehicles, even unoccupied ones. According to the CBS News, this California shooting incident reportedly happened near the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Route 119, two of the highways in Kern County in the South.

Motive for the California Shooting

An article on the Fox News states that the suspect of the California shooting was a 53-year-old man who was arrested after being accused of the incident. The suspect was then taken into custody without incident. However, the officials did not immediately identify the California shooting suspect’s possible motive for the incident. The suspect’s identity was also not revealed. The Kern Police only stated that one victim suffered a minor, unnamed injury, but did not request for any medical attention.
