$914 Direct Payment: Millions To Receive Huge Supplemental Income Boost Next Week

In the coming weeks, millions of Americans will receive a new round of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments. The next payment, which is $914, will be distributed on February 1.

Subsequent payments will be sent out on the first of every month, with some exceptions for holidays or weekends. The payments will be distributed on every first day of the following months: March, May, June, August, September, November, and December.

However, the payments for the remaining months may be distributed a few days before the first of the month due to a holiday or weekend.

In the previous year, payments amounted to $841. However, due to the implementation of a cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) boost of 8.7%, payments have now increased.

This year, Diario AS stated in an article published on November 14, 2022 that eligible individuals will be able to receive a maximum monthly federal amount of $914, which is an increase of $73 compared to the maximum amount in 2022.

Eligible couples, on the other hand, will see a larger increase of $110 and will be able to receive a maximum monthly amount of $1,371.

Additionally, individuals who are considered essential will see an increase of $37 from the previous year and will be able to receive up to $458 per month.
