The former Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy-University Transforms Center into a Leading Institute for Health Policy Advancement
Duke University upgraded the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy to the prestigious Institute. This significant step reinforces Duke’s dedication to health policy innovation to increase quality, equity, and affordability. Due to Bob and Lisa Margolis, Duke-Margolis has become a national leader in multidisciplinary health policy teaching, research, and engagement, a centennial milestone.
“Since its founding in 2016, and with the continued generous support of Bob and Lisa Margolis, Duke-Margolis has established itself as a national leader in interdisciplinary health policy education, research and engagement,” said Duke University President Vincent E. Price.
“As we celebrate the university’s Centennial, recognizing Duke-Margolis with institute status also advances our university-wide efforts to have a transformative impact on the future of health and health care.”
The former Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, now an institution, is dedicated to improving health, health fairness, and healthcare value through practical, evidence-based policy solutions.
