MongoDB + AICTE Internship Program
The MongoDB for Academia in India program was established in September 2023 and offers free credits for using MongoDB technology, certificates to help people begin their careers in the technology sector, and training for students as well as curriculum tools for educators. Given that many Indian firms struggle to locate developers with the necessary abilities to create cutting-edge applications and take advantage of cutting-edge technologies like generative AI, the program’s skills and training are especially vital.
As per the report by the National Association of Software and Services Companies said India’s technology sector will need more than 1 million engineers with advanced skills in AI and other fields over the next 3 years. Overall, the industry body expects that around 6 million jobs will be needed in the digital sector by 2028, with an estimated available talent pool of 4.7 million.India is on the brink of a wave of AI and emerging technologies that present a huge opportunity to change our lives and economy over the coming years.
Benefits under this Internship Program
- Under the government’s Skill India mission, the program seeks to give more than 150,000 students access to full-stack development capabilities. Internshipwill consist of sixty hours of practical training, including classes, project work, hands-on boot camps, and simulated corporate environments where students may put their newly acquired skills to use, network with classmates, and get mentorship.
- Additionally, MongoDB for Academia is growing its partnership with Geeks for Geeks, which will see the two companies work together on a variety of new projects, such as syndicating important full-stack development classes to students in Geeks for Geeks locations throughout India, both online and offline.
- All Geeks for Geeks customers will be able to access the MongoDB Developer Learning route, which is anticipated to reach over one lakh prospective developers.
- This gap highlights the need for greater collaboration between industry and academia to upskill India’s students and teachers and meets the needs of the country’s large and growing economy.
