Support for Families Impacted by Wildfires and Flooding

To be eligible for D-SNAP, households must either live or work in the disaster-affected areas and prove they have been impacted by the recent wildfires or flooding. They must also meet specific eligibility requirements. Each qualifying household will receive one month’s worth of benefits, matching the maximum SNAP amount for their household size. This support will help families purchase groceries at authorized stores or through approved online retailers.

For more details on eligibility and how to apply for these benefits, residents should visit the USDA website. This expanded assistance is part of ongoing efforts to support communities in recovering and rebuilding after the recent natural disasters.
