Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed 68 laws on Friday. These laws help people who drive people who broke immigration laws victims of child abuse and people who live in mobile homes. One important law is House Bill 5457. It says that a person can’t lose their professional license just because of their immigration status. This law starts on January 1, 2025.

New Connecticut Laws Aim to Enhance Safety, Support Victims, and Improve Living Conditions

Another important law is House Bill 5370. This law makes it so that drivers have to slow down when they see emergency vehicles on the side of the road. This helps keep people safe. Also, children who were forced into human trafficking can have their records erased if they were made to do bad things while they were being abused. This law starts on January 1, 2025 too.

Other laws signed by the governor include House Bill 5238. This law says that new mobile homes must have weather radios and that people must take care of safety devices in these homes. There’s also House Bill 5412 which says that if someone doesn’t report certain information, they might not get certain tax breaks. These new laws aim to make people safer help those who have been hurt and improve living conditions for people who live in mobile homes, according to the report of The Center Square.
