According to KLFY, The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (LDCFS) is giving money to families with kids this week. The money will help them buy food for their children during the summer. This program is called SUN Bucks.

The first group of families to get the money includes 300,000 children who got food stamps during the school year. Each child will get $120, which will be put on their family’s food stamp card. This money can be used to buy food at stores that take food stamps.
