The breach occurred in June 2022, leading to a lawsuit against Convergent which has agreed to pay $2.45 million to settle the case. Although the company denies wrongdoing the settlement aims to assist those impacted by the breach.
To claim compensation, eligible individuals must submit a form by June 19, 2024, along with supporting documents like bank statements or phone bills. Claimants could receive up to $1,500 for ordinary losses and up to $10,000 for extraordinary losses, depending on the extent of their damages.
