$38 Million in Unclaimed 2020 Tax Refunds Await 34,900 Michigan Residents

According to the report of 98.7 FGR GRAND RAPIDS, As the deadline gets closer for unclaimed 2020 tax refunds in Michigan its really important for Michigan residents to act fast to get back the money they owed. About 34,900 people in Michigan are owed refunds totaling a huge $38,274,800. The head of the IRS Danny Werfel stressed how urgent its saying time is running out for people who might have forgotten about their refunds. This year the deadline for filing returns has been pushed to May 17 which gives Michigan residents more time to get their money back especially with all the challenges from COVID-19.
