Minnesota Governor Tim Walz revealed a new plan for the state’s money, according to the report in Austin Daily Herald. He wants to keep most of the extra cash safe for later so Minnesota won’t have money problems down the road. His plan spends $226 million on important things like helping families with taxes and fixing water problems. He’s also giving more money to ambulance services especially in rural areas where help is far away.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz Faces Pushback on Budget Priorities: Lawmakers Call for Increased Ambulance Funding

Some lawmakers say the plan is good but not enough. They want more money for ambulances saying it’s really important even life-saving. The Governor’s plan now goes to other government leaders to talk about. They’ll decide if it’s good. Minnesota Governor says he’s being careful with money and thinking about the future so Minnesota stays in good shape financially.
