Meeting About The Hiring Veterans Tax Credit

At the upcoming town meeting, residents will vote on a budget increase to $982,267 for the hiring veterans tax credit, a 9.6% increase from last year.

Other issues to be addressed, aside from the hiring veterans tax credit include funding for capital reserve accounts and trust funds, including $25,000 for road improvements and $20,000 for a fire truck and ambulance. There are no contested races, and elections will be held on March 12 in preparation for the meeting about the hiring veterans tax credit.
