Senate Bill Aims to Strengthen Work Requirements for SNAP Beneficiaries
According to BallotPedia News, the Senate just passed Senate Bill 562 on February 23, 2024 on West Virginia. This bill wants to change food assistance beneficiaries through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). If you’re an able-bodied adult without dependents and aged between 18 and 52, you need to work to get SNAP benefits.
