February Stimulus Checks: Unclaimed Stimulus Payments

Despite the distribution of $1,400 stimulus checks to the majority of eligible recipients, reports indicate that over 600,000 taxpayers are still awaiting their payments from the Congress Budget, leaving many families in financial limbo.

That’s what the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was first meant to do: help the country recover from the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on the economy by giving direct payments and other help to people and families.

Many people who made a certain amount of money got the $1,400 stimulus checks. Individuals, married couples, and head of households all had different amounts. Others who met the standards still haven’t gotten the help they need.
