Eligible residents in Alaska are about to receive an amount of $1,312 in direct payment this middle week of December 2023.
Direct Payments in Alaska
The state of Alaska will be sending a new round of direct payments worth up to $1,312 to each eligible residents, according to the Alaska Department of Revenue. The state has already delivered two rounds of payments on Oct. 5 and Oct. 18 and the last batch will be released this month.
In a published article in The Gazette, payments this month will be sent to residents who had the “Eligible-Not Paid” status on Dec. 6 and have yet to receive their 2023 or earlier payments from the state program. It was also reported that the timetable for the residents to apply for the program is Jan. 1 to March 31 of each year.

Eligibility and Qualification
According to a published article in The Washington Examiner, to become eligible for the one-time payment, a person must intend to remain a resident of Alaska indefinitely and not be a convicted felon.
Furthermore, the source of fund is from the Permanent Fund Dividend which is determined by mineral revenues for Alaska for that respective year. Additionally, state officials said that the program is meant to benefit current and future residents of the state.
