$300 One-Time Income Tax Rebates Will Be Sent to Taxpayers in Alabama

Extra source of money is very important for millions of Americans today amidst the increasing inflation and rising costs of basic commodities. Luckily, taxpayers in Alabama will receive a one-time income tax rebate of up to $300 as part of Act No. 2023-377 / Act No. 2023-511.

In a published article in MARCA, the recently signed Act spells out that individual taxpayers will receive an amount of $150 and those who jointly filed together will receive an amount of up to $300. The best part of this is that this will not be muddied by taxes.

When Will They Receive the $300 One-Time Income Tax Rebate?

According to a published article in The Associated Press, this was sponsored by Sen. Arthur Orr, R-Decatur, and Rep. Danny Garrett, R-Trussville and was signed into law by Gov. Kay Ivey on June 1 after the lawmakers approved it on the floor of May 25.

Taxpayers in Alabama who filed their 2021 Alabama tax return before the October 17, 2022 deadline will start to receive their one-time tax rebate this November 30. This will automatically be sent to their bank accounts or will will sent directly through their doorsteps via the trusty check.
