Oklahoma Veterans Organization Explains Impact Of Debt Ceiling Negotiations

As the federal debt ceiling comes to an end there is growing uncertainty about things like Social Security and monthly government payments

Veterans are called to secure their budget spending

Veterans groups need to put on more of their efforts during debt ceiling negotiations and groups like the Oklahoma American Veterans with Disabilities have been listening carefully.

One of the many proposals was to cut the VA’s budget by 22%. We will not tolerate attempts to reduce spending at the expense of veterans. They have already told the public that to avoid defaulting on its debt they declared the deadline as early as June 1.
