The Property Tax/Rent/Heat (PTC) rebates up to $1,044 each year to the eligible American citizen. The program required that it should be elderly’s that age 58-65, or a person with disabilities. It is a program that helps citizens from suffering in paying their rent and taxes fee.

How To Apply?

You must meet the criteria before applying to this program. You should be a qualifier and must be a senior citizen aged from 58 to 65. A person with a disability can also apply for this program. You should also be an eligible American citizen. Additionally, you must also have a bona fide public or plan source.

Generally, there was an income limit of $16,925 for single filers and $22,858 for those filing multiple. Furthermore, the applicants should pay the tax, rental, and heating bills properly, if not applicator will be rejected. Those who try to apply but are dependent on eligible qualifiers are not accepted.

You can submit your application forms to the Colorado Department of Avenue. If you are qualified for the program the system will provide and send you some documentation to eligibly verify your identification.

Payments Schedule

Those who applied in early January and February will surely receive their rebates first. The rebates will be distributed in four different categories. If you apply a little bit late the payment will also be received late.

Moreover, the payments will receive 10-12 weeks later on the day you submit your application. Furthermore, as long as you’ve applied before December 31, 2024, you will receive your rebates. Apply if you know that you are a qualifier.
