Hawaii
González states that a tax refund of $100 to $300 is being issued in Hawaii. Individual filers who earned less than $100,000 and joint filers who earned less than $200,000 in 2021 can receive $300. On the contrary, individual filers who earned more than $100,000 and joint filers who earned more than $200,000 in 2021 can receive $100 only.
New Mexico
In New Mexico, tax refunds worth $500 will be issued to individual filers. On the other hand, joint filers will be given up to $1,000. The residents of New Mexico can file their 2021 income tax return and be qualified to claim the tax refunds only until May 2023.
South Carolina
According to Russo, the tax rebates worth up to $800 are under a cash assistance program in South Carolina. Those who have already filed their 2021 taxes last October 17, 2022 should have received the tax rebates in 2022. Fortunately, the deadline to file taxes has been extended until February 15. Those who file by this deadline can expect to be given their tax rebates by March.
