Social Security Payments Up to $3,822 for 66-67-Year-Olds

According to Vibes.okdiario , If you’re wondering whether your Social Security payment is coming in less than 48 hours, the answer could be yes if your birthday falls between the 1st and 10th of any month. However, there are specific conditions that must be met to receive your payment, including having filed for Social Security benefits and not being on Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

For the Social Security payment scheduled for December 11, 2024, you must also have been receiving benefits after April 30, 1997. Those who began receiving benefits before May 1997 will have to wait for their payment on January 3, 2025.

Who Will Receive Up to $3,822 on December 11, 2024?

On December 11, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will issue payments to retirees born between the 1st and 10th of any month. However, if you’re receiving SSI, have violated SSA rules, or started receiving benefits before May 1997, you won’t be eligible for this payment.

For those who do qualify, payments will be issued on December 18, 2024, for individuals born between the 11th and 20th of any month. The amount you receive depends on your work history and earnings.

How to Receive the Maximum $3,822 in Social Security

To receive the largest payment of $3,822, you must be at least 66 years and 8 months old in 2024, as this is the Full Retirement Age (FRA). To qualify for this maximum amount, you must have worked for 35 years in jobs covered by Social Security, earned the taxable maximum during that period, and filed for benefits at your FRA.

For those who delay their retirement and choose to file at age 70, Social Security payments could reach up to $4,873 in 2024, which is even higher than the $3,822 maximum. Delaying retirement can be a strategy for those seeking larger monthly payments.
