Know Your Food Stamps Payday


According to Vibes.okdiario , The State of Texas will continue issuing SNAP payments through December 28, 2024, with payments being made on different dates depending on your Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number. To determine when you will receive your Food Stamps, you need to check your EDG number, which determines your payment date according to the USDA’s schedule.

December SNAP Payment Schedule for Texas:

  • December 5: EDG ending in 2
  • December 6: EDG ending in 3
  • December 7: EDG ending in 4
  • December 9: EDG ending in 5
  • December 11: EDG ending in 6
  • December 12: EDG ending in 7
  • December 13: EDG ending in 8
  • December 15: EDG ending in 9

For recipients who certified before June 2020, these payments will be issued between December 1st and 15th.

SNAP Payments After December 15: Payments for the remaining EDG numbers will continue after December 15:

  • December 16: EDG ending in 00-03, 54-57
  • December 17: EDG ending in 04-06, 58-60
  • December 18: EDG ending in 07-10, 61-64
  • December 19: EDG ending in 11-13, 65-67
  • December 20: EDG ending in 14-17, 68-71
  • December 21: EDG ending in 18-20, 72-74
  • December 22: EDG ending in 21-24, 75-78
  • December 23: EDG ending in 25-27, 79-81
  • December 24: EDG ending in 28-31, 82-85
  • December 25: EDG ending in 32-34, 86-88
  • December 26: EDG ending in 35-38, 89-92
  • December 27: EDG ending in 39-41, 46-49, 93-95
  • December 28: EDG ending in 42-45, 50-53, 96-99

SNAP payments in Texas are distributed using the Lone Star Card, which functions as the state’s EBT card. Be sure to check your balance on the corresponding payday based on your EDG number.
