This is the highest rate since 2007.

Our analysis of the latest data reveals that Interstate 95 (I-95) is the most deadly highway in the country, with 284 fatalities and a fatality rate of 14.88 per 100 miles. The highway, which runs along the East Coast, is particularly notorious for its winter weather conditions, with many accidents occurring in the northeast during the cold months.
