Surprising Statistics Reveal Most Dangerous Cities
Most Dangerous Cities Struggle with Rising Violence
In a recent report Iowa‘s cities are facing a serious problem with crime. Iowa is mostly known for its peaceful countryside but some areas are dangerous and by looking at data from the FBI we learned that Iowa has more cases of arson compared to other states but it’s not all bad news. Iowa has fewer murders and assaults than many other places which is somewhat surprising but here’s the shocker: a city with only about 26,000 Americans has the highest number of assaults and murders in the state, according to Southwest Journal. That’s pretty scary considering its small size. Jobs are hard to find in Iowa and the pay isn’t great. This makes life tough for many Americans possibly contributing to the crime problem. Iowa isn’t one of the worst states for crime overall but cities like Des Moines and Davenport are still pretty dangerous. It makes you wonder if having more police around would help. One thing’s for sure: we need to pay attention to the list of Iowa’s most dangerous places. Even small towns can have big problems with crime.
