Yellowbear reportedly tortured his toddler for weeks then continued to deny involvement in the murder and blamed his wife for the abuse. This year, with a population of more than ten thousand people, Riverton recorded a violent crime rate of 547 per 100,000 people and a property crime rate of 4,233 per 100,000 residents.
