Four Charged with Murder and Robbery in Kent Teen’s Death
Suspects Allegedly Planned Robbery Through OfferUp, Leading to Fatal Shooting
According to True Crime News, in Kent, Washington four people have been charged in connection with the shooting death of 13-year-old Matthiew Stavkovy during a robbery. The accused are 20-year-old Diavante Dunmore 17-year-old Marsais Dunmore 16-year-old Semarias Woods and 18-year-old Faysal Abdullahi. They face charges of first-degree murder and robbery. The shooting happened on July 16 and despite quick response from police and firefighters Stavkovy died at the scene from his gunshot wound.
The suspects had planned to rob someone they met through OfferUp while pretending to buy a camera. They set up the robbery at Turnkey Park and arrived early to prepare. Matthiew Stavkovy was with the seller because he was friends with them. During the robbery Marsais Dunmore allegedly fired a gun fatally wounding Stavkovy. After stealing the camera and other items Stavkovy and the seller attempted to escape on an ATV when they saw the gun.

Prosecutors Highlight Recklessness in Fatal Shooting of Teen During Robbery
Court documents show that although the suspects did not plan to kill anyone their actions were reckless and led to a fatal outcome. Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Thomas O’Bann highlighted that the suspects’ violent plan and use of a weapon caused a series of events resulting in Stavkovy’s death. The four suspects are in custody and will face significant legal consequences for their involvement in this tragic incident.
