A 33-year-old father was arrested for allegedly setting two houses on fire with an illegal firework on the 4th of July. He gave his 11-year-old son a firework and told him to light it causing it to malfunction and set a nearby shed ablaze, according to the report of The Blaze.

Quick Thinking Saves Mother’s Life

A single mother renting part of one of the affected homes fled for her life as the fire spread rapidly through her residence. She escaped without injury, but her home suffered extensive damage.

Father Arrested and Charged

Karamjit Singh was arrested by the Arson Bomb Squad and charged with multiple counts, including second-degree arson and endangering the welfare of a child. He was released after pleading not guilty.
