Elkhart Man Arrested for Setting Fire to Police Vehicle and Gas Well

According to ABC57, A bad thing happened early on Saturday, June 22. Someone set fire to a police car and a gas well at a gas station in Elkhart, Indiana. The gas station owner told police that a man tried to make the gas well catch fire. The man then ran away.

About 20 minutes later, a police officer found that one of their police cars were on fire in the parking garage. The officer tried to put out the flames while other officers looked for the bad guy. They finally found him near a fire station and he tried to resist arrest. An officer got hurt in the struggle. The man was taken to jail and charged with setting fires and resisting arrest.
