According to FOX CAROLINA a troubling event is happening in Madison County, North Carolina. A 24-year-old man named Jaden Garay recently admitted to doing some violent acts. He shot a USPS worker and stole her car. It all happened on September 5, 2023 after Garay argued with his parents. He took their gun and started causing trouble. Another violent acts is he shot at another driver on the highway and broke into a house in Mars Hill.

Tragic Confrontation: USPS Worker Shot During Carjacking Incident by Jaden Garay

Things got worse when Garay confronted a USPS worker. He said strange things about evil spirits and demanded her car at gunpoint. Despite her kindness and offering to pray with him Garay shot the mail carrier and drove away with her car. The poor victim got seriously hurt losing her left eye because of Garay‘s actions. It’s a sad reminder of how violent acts can change lives forever. Now Garay is facing serious charges for what he did. The U.S. Attorney’s office in Western North Carolina confirmed he admitted to carjacking and using a gun in a violent crime. But he hasn’t been sentenced yet. This case shows why it’s important to stop violent acts and make sure people who do bad things are held responsible for their actions.
