In a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live actor Nick Offerman shared a surprising story from his youth, according to Entertainment Weekly. He talked about a night where he and his friends got mixed up with the police and ended up spending the night in jail. Offerman is known for his roles in “Parks and Recreation” and “Civil War,” recalled the event from his college days in Illinois revealing it as a tale his parents hadn’t heard before.
During a late-night hangout behind a theater in California, Offerman and his friends ran into the police. The cops mistook them for robbers because they hurried away and they ended up in trouble. Offerman and his theater group spent the whole night in jail suspected of being involved in a nearby robbery.
