Pregnant Woman Found Slain in Chatham Alley
Suspect Charged in Killing of Pregnant Woman in Chicago
According to the report of CBS NEWS, The city of Chicago is shaken by the sad news about 24 year old Itzel Camarena. She was found dead in a Chatham alley in February. She was six months pregnant which made the situation even more heartbreaking. Now a 26 year old man named Dontrell Anderson is accused of killing her. He facing serious charges including first-degree murder and hiding evidence of the crime.

Community Rallies Around Family of Slain Pregnant Woman
During the court hearing prosecutors showed disturbing video footage. The reasons behind this terrible act are still unclear leaving Camarena family searching for answers. Her mother Vanessa Sanchez is devastated. Instead of planning a baby shower for her daughter she now planning a funeral mourning the loss of both her daughter and her unborn granddaughter. Despite their grief Camarena family is determined to seek justice for her and her unborn child. They want Anderson to be held responsible for what he accused of doing. Every court appearance brings them face to face with the painful reality of their loss. But they not alone in their sorrow. The community is standing by them offering support as they try to find a way to heal and remember Camarena and her unborn child.
