After Breaking Federal Probation, Phifer Was Taken into Arrest in Columbus County
Phifer is found in possession of a firearm by deputies, which results in more charges
Deputies in Columbus County found Aaron Bernard Phifer, who had been wanted by the US Marshals Service for violating his terms of federal probation. On March 27, deputies found Phifer at the Sandy Ridge Apartments with a gun in his hands. Due to the seriousness of the allegations and his breach of federal probation, Phifer was charged with both felon carrying a hidden weapon and felon possessing a firearm by a felon, which further complicated his legal issues. He has been held without bond as a result, the CCSO confirmed in a news release.
