According to True Crime Daily, in New Hanover County, North Carolina a 69-year-old man named Lawrence Grabka was reported missing by a friend. She got worried when she found his door unlocked and his stuff inside but he was nowhere to be seen. When deputies went to his home they found his remains buried in the backyard making them think something bad happened.

Roommate Arrested for First-Degree Murder Suspect

Investigators said Lawrence’s roommate 34-year-old Elvin Baca is the main suspect. They arrested him for first-degree murder and did not report the death. Baca is now in jail without bond. Sheriff Ed McMahon said they’re very concerned about what happened and are working to find justice for Lawrence and his family.
