Search Escalates for Suspect Following Fatal Shooting of State Police Officer
According to the report of DAILY CALLER, a manhunt is happening after a state police officer was shot and killed according to NBC News. Officer Justin Hare 35 died while he was helping someone early Friday. The suspect Jaremy Smith 32 from South Carolina had a flat tire when Officer Hare came to help.

Manhunt Intensifies for Suspect Who Fatally Shot State Police Officer
Police Chief Troy Weisler said that things went terribly wrong when the suspect suddenly shot Officer Hare without warning. After that Smith took Officer Hare police car and ran away. Even though police are trying hard to find him Smith is still on the run and the search is getting more intense across the state. Police have put out a warrant for Smith arrest charging him with first-degree murder and other crimes. Smith past trouble with the law mostly in South Carolina makes finding him even more urgent. Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham shared her sympathy with Officer Hare family as police work harder to catch Smith who is considered very dangerous. Plus, Smith is also suspected in another murder case making it even more important for the police to find him quickly.
