A Pennsylvania man assaulted a police officer of Otsego County Deputy Sheriff on February 14 at 9:00 PM on Interstate 88, Milford town. The police officers were conducting a traffic stop because of a violation when the man tried to escape and dragged the police officer for about 300 feet.
Speeding violation turned to escape and dragging a police officer
Otsego County Deputy Sheriff stopped the traffic on Interstate 88, Milford Town, to investigate a speeding violation on the night of February 14. During the investigation, police officers found a handgun in the possession of Jamesan P. Conville, 36 years old from Lititz, Pennsylvania. Conville escaped the scene but dragged with him a police officer for about 300 feet across Interstate 88.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the injured police officer has made a full recovery after receiving medical treatment at Bassett Hospital
As reported by WBNG, the Otsego County Deputy Sheriff was able to locate Conville with the assistance of the New York State Police and Massachusetts State Police. Conville was with a fully loaded Glock 43X when the police officers arrested him in Massachusetts using an active arrest warrant from the Otsego County Court.

Aggravated Assault and numerous other charges
According to a Facebook post press release of Otsego County Sheriff’s Office, the 36-year-old from Lititz Pennsylvania, Jamesan Conville, was processed at Otsego County Correctional Facility and was charged with Aggravated Assault, and numerous other charges. As reported by WBNG, Conville is held $15,000 cash or $150,000 surety bond bail recommendation.
