Gruesome Discovery Unfolds in 2018, Exposing Rabon’s Inheritance Scheme

Samantha Rabon, a 39-year-old woman from South Carolina has been found guilty and sentenced to spend the remaining of her life behind bars for her involvement in a crime to inherit money by arranging the deaths of two family members. The judge’s ruling came after Rabon was convicted on multiple charges including murder, conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder. This verdict followed an accurate trial led by Jimmy Richardson.

The tragic events unfolded in August 2018 when Horry County Police responded to reports of an abandoned vehicle and made a discovery at the home of the vehicle’s owner. Robert Ford, 59 and his son, Robbie Ford, 25 were found dead in the yard both victims of gunshot wounds. It was later revealed that Rabon had arranged the murders in a plot to inherit her father’s wealth. Despite the passage of two years before the case was solved, authorities eventually traced evidence back to Rabon through genetic line of family and she’s been found guilty.

Rabon’s conviction is all about on the depths of human greed as she sought financial gain at the expense of her own family’s lives. Testimony from witnesses unveiled the chilling details of Rabon’s plan including her offer of $20,000 to a co-conspirator to carry out the murders. Despite attempts by the defense to shift blame onto Rabon’s mother, the court upheld her conviction condemning her actions as among the most heinous witnessed in the state.
