In Bettendorf, Iowa, a shocking crime spree unfolded as reported by KWQC. Shawn Yuille, 32, allegedly burglarized a home, injuring two individuals, and then led police on a high-speed chase.
Bettendorf Crime Spree Ends: Burglary and Assault
Yuille reportedly entered a residence on N Fairmount Street, inflicting injuries on two occupants, with one suffering severe facial wounds and the other being choked.
After fleeing the scene, Yuille returned threatening the injured parties, including one holding an infant, before police were alerted to the situation.
Despite police attempts to stop him, Yuille recklessly drove his green Chevrolet Tahoe, reaching speeds exceeding 80 mph, causing havoc on the roads and ultimately colliding with another vehicle.

Bettendorf Crime Spree Ends: Arrest and Charges
Following a daring pursuit, Yuille crashed his vehicle into a cement bridge and attempted to flee on foot but was later apprehended by law enforcement officers.
He is now being charged with many things, such as first-degree theft, fleeing police, attack causing bodily harm, and many driving crimes.
Yuille awaits his preliminary hearing on Feb. 23, confined in custody with a $25,000 bond, as authorities piece together the events of this harrowing ordeal.
