Deshawn Lucas, 33, Faces Serious Charges in Connection with Gold Coast Incident

Deshawn Lucas, 33, was accused of attempted murder at a Prada store in Chicago’s Gold Coast. Aggravated firearm battery, burglary, and weapon usage are also charged. One Chicago police officer was shot in the leg during a shootout with Lucas. Despite being hospitalized, prosecutors requested his detention until trial. Lucas was ordered detained in detention until January 17 by Judge William Fahy to allow him to attend.
