Suspect Tried to Falsify the Evidence
According to a report published in PEOPLE, Eric Sweeney tried to hide the evidence he used in the crime. He falsified physical evidence for allegedly trying to “alter, destroy, conceal, or remove” a Taurus .40 caliber handgun to intentionally compromise the investigation.
However, police authorities arrested Eric Sweeney on the suspicion of their deaths. It was also found during the investigation that Kassandra Swenney’s husband called the police sometime in 2022 and told the officers that he was worried about the safety of his family.
