Mayor of Hardy, Ethan Barnes, was arrested for a disorderly conduct at a football game.
At the Arkansas State University football game on Saturday night in Jonesboro, Ethan Barnes, a northeast Arkansas mayor was arrested for disorderly conduct.
According to arrest documents, on September 23, officials arrested Ethan Barnes, 28, and placed him into the Craighead County Detention Center on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
In November 2022, Ethan Barnes was elected to serve as mayor of Hardy.
Ethan Barnes provided details of the circumstances leading up to the arrest in an exclusive interview with K8 News.
Ethan Barnes said that he had a restroom emergency while he was at one of the alumni events.
Ethan Barnes went to a fairly remote location in the woods to use the restroom after rapidly searching for a nearby restroom and failing to find one or a porta-potty.
