Sierra Vista Police Department arrested the 35-year-old Sierra Vista resident.
On Monday night, the Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a 35 year old local Sierra man who was allegedly trying to pick up a sixteen year old minor for sex.
On September 18, a resident reported his 16-year-old daughter was trying to leave the house in the middle of the night, prompting an officer from the Sierra Vista Police Department to react to a call for suspicious circumstances on Golf Links Road.
A review of the 16-year-old’s conversations, according to Sierra Vista Police Department, revealed that she had been chatting with a 35-year-old guy and that they had exchanged sexual photographs.
According to Sierra Vista Police Department, the resident gave authorities access to the phone.

Through his online pictures and screen name, the Sierra Vista Police Department was able to recognize Jay Joseph Cruz Santos, 35, a resident of Sierra Vista.
Sierra Vista Police Department kept in touch with Santos, who kept sending and requesting illegal photographs that he said belonged to another young person.
Later that evening, Santos asked to meet up for sexual activity.
Santos had been arrested by the Sierra Vista Police Department at the Mall at Sierra Vista at 7:44 p m, according to Sierra Vista Police Department.
He picked up the person he believed to be the 16 year old girl he had been in contact with on Monday without incident.
According to the Sierra Vista Police Department, he was arrested and lodged in the Cochise County Jail on charges of aggravated enticing of a juvenile and sexual exploitation of a minor.
