A former ex-employee that was responsible for stealing more than 100 packages was given no prison time.

The recommendation sentence that was given to Jasmine Holloway by the prosecutor and her public defender was six months home confinement and two years probation.
The location of the shipping company was near downtown and it provides a service that assists people in dealing with their parcels overseas. Holloway knew the shipping company is receiving various amounts of electronic equipment and drives her to access the company’s code to disable the alarm system.

The investigators released a statement that Holloway began using the access code to enter the Marshallton facility. She then started to target large amounts of parcels that were addressed to the reshipping company and took away several electronic devices and started selling them under the radar. Holloway call on guilty last year to four counts of mail theft by a postal employee.
The company filed a series of complaints, and after several surveillance cameras were reviewed some of the involved thefts were identified. Prosecutors said Holloway’s crime was serious and a breach of public trust, her limited criminal record and compliance with the terms of his provisional release it was then decided that she will be given a house arrest rather than in prison.
