A trial was executed due to a lack of safety rules and regulations that caused the death of 20 people.
The limousine operator was charged with multiple cases in connection with the 2018 accident
The stretched SUV was fully loaded with people celebrating a birthday when it goes rapidly down the hill, the driver lost control and went off the road, and hit a car along the road before stopping into a river canal. There are seventeen passengers that are involved including the driver and the two passersby.
Nauman Hussain was charged with criminally negligent homicide and second-degree manslaughter in connection with the accident of the stretched SUV limousine in Schoharie, New York. Relatives of the involved accident mourned during the deliberation that only took two hours earlier on Tuesday.
Safety regulations and regular inspections must be implemented at all times
The prosecutors say that if only the company has a strict implementation for safety and inspections further accidents can be avoided. Rench said that only if Hussain did a routine check as required they would’ve seen brake effects and prevented the wreck. Witnesses are invited to testify during the trial including a former Mavis manager. The defense declared no witnesses.
