Tennessee Men Accused of Drugging, Kidnapping, and Raping a Kentucky College Student

Police authorities confirmed that two Tennessee men were accused of drugging and kidnapping a Kentucky college student.

Authorities Identified the Suspects

The Metro Nashville Police Department authorities have identified the two Tennessee men who drugged and kidnapped the Kentucky college student. They are Joseph Farmer, 36 years old, and Trevor Casteel, 27 years old. They were also alleged of raped and fraud.

In a published article in FOX News, the 18-year-old victim told the police authorities that she was first drugged at a popular bar and music venue in Nashville on May 4. Following it, she was sexually assaulted by the two suspects. Farmer and Casteel even used the ATM card of the victim.

The 18-year-old college student also told the investigators that she was inside a Jeep Grand Cherokee that evening when she was sexually assaulted. Additionally, her debit card has a history at a Shell Gas Station and a $12 charge at a Waffle House.

One of the Suspects Remains At Large

News Channel 5 reports that the MPD was able to track the whereabouts of the suspects using License-plate recognition (LPR) technology. Additionally, they were also able to identify the two Tenessee men, Farmer and Casteel.

Moreover, it was found on May 5 that Casteel and Farmer were wanted on three unrelated cases that involved Narcotics. As of Tuesday, Casteel remains at large.
